Peter A. Kruize

Peter A. Kruize, age 71 of St. Peter, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Benedictine Living, St. Peter.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary with a visitation to follow from 1:30-4:00pm. The celebration will continue at 5:00pm at the Red Men Club, St. Peter. To leave a condolence for the family, please visit www.mankatomortuary.com.

Peter Alan was born July, 9, 1954 in Elbow Lake, MN to Peter and Deloris (Johnson) Kruize. Peter graduated from Elbow Lake High School, furthering his education in Fergus Falls. And later, becoming an insurance salesman for 51 years. He was united in marriage to Victoria Lyons (07/16/93) in Elbow Lake. In 2000, the family moved to St. Peter, where they made their home until his passing. He took great pride in supporting his Son & nephews during their basketball days, traveling frequently to their games. He was a member of the Red Men Club and enjoyed basketball, golf, riding his Harley, and traveling.

Left to remember Peter are his wife, Vickie; children: Jennifer (Derrick) Matheson, and Peter B. (Elli) Kruize; grandchildren: Dakota, Cheyton and Brielle Matheson; sisters: Barbie Kruize, and Deborah Retzlaff; and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
