Randy Wade Erb

Randy Wade Erb, of St. Peter, Minnesota, formerly of Marshall, passed away on April 24, 2025, surrounded by love and peace. He was 68 years old.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents Roy Erb, and Lavina Harrison Erb (Edward), and his brothers Mike Erb, and Mark Erb. Survived in death by his children Adam Erb (Danielle), Haley Erb Taylor (Dan), his grandchildren Aiden, Levi, Eliana, Lily, and Rylee. As well as his sisters Lynn Christianson (Mike), and Mona Kramer (David), and several nieces and nephews.

Randy proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for four years as a Defense Message System Specialist, achieving the rank of Sergeant. He was honorably discharged and received both the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal in recognition of his dedicated service. His time in the Marines was a meaningful chapter of his life, and he carried the values of discipline, honor, and service with him throughout everything he did.

Later in his life, Randy devoted his career to helping others as an addiction counselor and social service provider. With compassion, empathy, and an unwavering belief in second chances, he guided countless individuals on their paths to recovery. His legacy of service and healing lives on in the many lives he touched.

Outside of his work, Randy found joy and expression through photography, capturing beauty and meaning in everyday moments.
