Sandra Lee Volk

A Funeral service for Sandra “Sandy” Volk will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in St. Peter. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church in St. Peter. The Rev. Jack Kelly will officiate. Burial will be in Kasota Hill Cemetery. Sandy was born on March 15, 1944 in Kasota to Edmund and Clara (Soller) Flowers. She grew up in Kasota and graduated from St. Peter High School in 1962. On January 22, 1966 she was united in marriage to Jim Volk. The couple then moved to Kasota. Sandy worked for Ben Franklin, and finished her career working 19 years at Gustavus Adolphus College in the food service department. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. Sandy loved to read romance novels, and enjoyed jigsaw and word-search puzzles. She is survived by children: Douglas Volk of Kasota, and Sheila Volk of Kasota; brother Elwood Flowers; sisters-in-law: Janice, Vicki, Diane, and Patti. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim, and brother Arno Flowers.
