Valoria V. Johnson

Valoria Johnson, age 91 of St. Peter, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at the Lutheran Home of Belle Plaine.

Funeral Service will be 11:00am Friday, June 20, 2025 at Norseland Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in the church cemetery. www.saintpeterfuneralhome.com

Valoria Verda was born February 13, 1934 in Minneapolis to Elvinor and Malinda (Thur) Decko. She is a 1952 graduate of Le Sueur High School. Valoria was united in marriage to Elroy "Buster" Johnson on January 18, 1958. They made their home in St. Peter where Valoria was employed as a school room aid at the St. Peter Public Schools. She was a member of the ladies aid at Norseland Lutheran, and enjoyed spending time with Buster, other family, and friends.

Left to remember Valoria are her sister, Joyce Miller; brother-in-law Larry Johnson; sister-in-law Beverly Johnson; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buster in 2013.
