William “Bill” Anthony Rohlfing, age 82 of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Central Health Care in Le Center.
Memorial Mass will be 11:00am Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Church of the Nativity in Cleveland with visitation at 10:00am. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland. To view a livestream of the service, or leave a condolences for the family visit www.saintpeterfuneralhome.com.
William was born November 18, 1939 in Cordova Township to Walter and Margaret (Simonet) Rohlfing. On May 28, 1966 he was united in marriage to Julia LaBarr. They made their home in Cleveland and Bill was employed as a foreman for ADC for 18 years, production manager at GTO for 2 years, and a machine operator for several road construction companies for 28 years. He enjoyed playing cards with friends and family, going for a drive and his treats. He especially enjoyed his annual “Christmas” fishing trip to SD. His heart was in singing, whether at church in the choir, or other special events.
Left to remember Bill are his wife, Julia; daughter Kelly (Jay) Milbrett; son Cory Rohlfing; grandsons: Cody and Carter Milbrett; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings: Mary Lou Rohlfing, Jean (Gordon) Foley, Donna (Walter) Jellum, Delores (Richard) Wieland, Marvin Rohlfing, and Ann (Joe) Rezac.
