William K. Gleason

William K. Gleason, age 62, died Monday, February 10, 2020 in Mankato.

Memorial visitation will be 4:00-7:00pm Friday, February 28, 2020 at St. Peter Funeral Home.

William was born July 24, 1957 in Waseca, MN to Lyle R. and Rosalie V. (Johnson) Gleason. He attended Nicollet High School and then enlisted in the US Army, serving over 20 years before being honorably discharged. He then worked in communications, which had him traveling extensively. In retirement, he settled in the Mankato area. Through his life he enjoyed many things, including: drinking coke, driving around and brightening someone’s day with flowers.

Left to remember William are his children: Jason, Nikki and Anna; grandchildren; siblings: Joan (Steve) Michel, John (Linda), Brad (Julie), Mark (Cindy), Melody (Karl) Weber and Robert; aunts: Delores Gleason, Florence Mogensen, Lucille Johnson and LaVone Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parent.
