Maxine (McCabe) Ahlstrom

>Maxine (McCabe) Ahlstrom formerly of St Peter passed away May 10, 2008 in Martinsville, IN. She was born Nov. 30,1924 in St Peter, to the late Max and Margaret (Hanson) Haack. On Sept. 16,1942 she married Joseph T. McCabe, he passed away in 1953. On Nov. 20, 1965 she married Edwin Ahlstrom, He passed away in 1995. She worked for several years as a CNA before retiring.

She is survived by three daughters, Faye (Peterson) Jarrett,and Kathleen (John) Erlandson both of Martinsville, IN, Patricia Dickie of Mankato, one son Brother Michael McCabe OFM of Chicago IL, one brother Raymond Haack of Lawton, OK, one half-sister Olive Cemensky of LeCenter, MN one step-son Donald Ahlstrom of Rochester, MN, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Along with several nieces and nephews,

She was also preceded in death by one half-brother Christopher Jacobson, two half-sisters, Annebelle Antinozzi and Maire Engesser.

Visitation will be May 15, 2008 from 4 to 8 PM at St Peters Catholic Church, St Peter, MN. Funeral services will be at the church May 16,2008 at 11:30 AM. Internment will be at the Church Cemetery. St Peter Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
