Andrew N. Dvorak

Andrew "Andy" Nelson Dvorak, age 80 of St. Peter, passed away peacefully at home on January 13, 2024.

 Memorial service will be 11:00am Friday, January 19, 2024 at Sunrise Church, St. Peter with visitation at 9:30am. Memorials can be directed toward the Royal Family Kids Camp. To leave a condolence for the family, visit his obituary at www.saintpeterfuneralhome.com.

 Andrew Nelson Dvorak was born July 12, 1943 in St. Peter MN to Joseph F. and Maxine K. (Ludcke) Dvorak. He graduated from St. Peter High School and served in the US Navy. Andy was united in marriage to Linda L. Thompson on September 2, 1967 at Garfield Church in Madison, MN. He received his bachelor’s degree from Mankato State and worked as a data processing supervisor with Region 5 Computer Services until his retirement. He was a dedicated member of Sunrise Church.  He was willing to help anyone and enjoyed volunteering for multiple causes including Royal Family Kids Camp. He loved to sing and was a member of the Riverblenders Barbershop Chorus.  He enjoyed golfing, motorcycling, and bicycling. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

 Left to remember Andy are his wife, Linda; children: Andrea (David) Castillo, and Brett; grandchildren: Max Castillo and Geneva Dvorak; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and five siblings: Karna Frey, Josephine  "Jo Jo" Devick, Diane Lind, David "Sharky", and William "Bill".
